A morning visit to the historic 'gold-rush' town of Arrowtown. In Queenstown there are many optional attractions and adventures to partake in. This evening, a relaxing cruise aboard the historic coal-fired steamer, the "SS Earnslaw" will cross the lake to the "Walter Peak Sheep Station" for dinner and a sheep dog demonstration.

A morning visit to a Maori Village for a tour by one of the elders. See first hand how the local native people use the hot water and steam to cook their food and heat their homes. From there, a short drive to the "Agrodome", for a show of sheep and sheep dogs demonstration. The late afternoon and evening is free time.

An early morning transfer to the Auckland Airport to catch the flight to Cairns, Australia. After clearing Customs transfer to “Tjapukai Aboriginal Park” for lunch and tour the park which features dancing and boomerang throwing. Check into hotel around 3:00 p.m. with the rest of the day free to enjoy the pool area and to relax.

Travel by catamaran to the tropical ‘atoll’ of “Green Island” situated on “Great Barrier Reef”. Included is a ‘glass bottom boat’ to view the coral; a buffet lunch; snorkeling and swimming. Return to Cairns in the afternoon.

Today, travel onto the Atherton Tablelands. Learn about some of the farming techniques unique to the area: from sugar cane to bananas and from peanuts to tea. Have lunch and visit the Giant Fig Tree before returning to Cairns.

At “Freshwater Station” board the “Kuranda Rail” for a scenic journey up the mountains, to “Kuranda Station”. Enjoy time exploring Kuranda on your own before taking the world’s longest gondola ride (7.4 km) over the rainforest back to sea level. Board the afternoon flight that will take you to Brisbane for a 2-night stay.

Enjoy a morning cruise on the Brisbane River to “Lone Pine Wildlife Park”, where it is still possible to cuddle a koala and feed the kangaroos. Return to the city of Brisbane with the afternoon free.
