Day 01: Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica Arrive and transfer by private transfer to your hotel.
Day 02: San Jose‐Sarapiqui
Breakfast in the hotel. Early shared transfer to Hacienda Pozo Azul. First activity included in the morning: Rafting at Sarapiqui River, class II & III, known as Costa Rica's most scenic river in the tropical rain forest. Minimun age: 9 years old. Afternoon horse ride included at the Hacienda.
Day 03: Sarapiquí
Breakfast in the Hacienda. Day to enjoy an optional activity such as the canopy tour: Price US$50 per person. Enjoy the exciting experience of gliding through 12 zip lines and 15 platforms in the forest, ending with a 900 ft cable crossing the beautiful Sarapiquí River canyon. Minimum age: 6 years old. Other recommended optional activity: Half day bike rental: US$15 per person
Day 04: Sarapiqui – Arenal
Breakfast in the Hacienda. Early bird watching tour in Hacienda Pozo Azul included. Shared transfer to La Fortuna de San Carlos. Departure 15H30 – Arrival 17H00 approximately. San Carlos offers a landscape of exceptional beauty with its forests, lagoons, fields of crops, rivers, natural hot springs, and the most active volcano of Costa Rica: Arenal. In other words, sanctuaries where one can breathe peace and amaze with the majestic power of nature. Optional activity: Baldi Hot Springs (transfers and dinner included): US$87 per person
Day 05: Arenal
Breakfast in the hotel. Guided walk in Arenal Hanging Bridges included. Located within the corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America, the trails and bridges of this project will bring the visitor as close as any person could ever imagine to observe the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of the primary rainforest. It is a 250 hectares of primary forest property, made of paths and bridges built to maintain the utmost harmony between man‐made structures and nature. The property has an impressive view to Arenal Volcano and to the lake that feeds the largest hydroelectric plant in Costa Rica. Hanging bridges and trails are safe and easy to walk.
Day 06: Arenal – Manuel Antonio
Breakfast in the hotel. Shared transfer to Manuel Antonio. Departure 08H00 – Arrival 14H20 approximately. The Central Pacific possesses the beaches closest to the capital city. Among the most popular are Herradura, Jaco, Dominical and the ones at Manuel Antonio National Park. They enjoy the characteristics of a very hot and humid climate, with a season of brilliant sunshine from December through the end of April and warm waters all year long. Hills covered with green forests compose the common landscape of the area. Some of the features which have made Manuel Antonio one of the places most preferred by the tourists are the white sand beaches, cliffs, rivers, rain forests, the large variety of animal life and climate. The Manuel Antonio National Park is home of the White Faced, Mantled Howler and Red‐backed Squirrel monkeys, Two and Three Toad sloths, among other mammals, as well as a number of species of birds. Punta Catedral (cathedral point), the bay of Puerto Escondido (hidden port), and the beautiful beaches with blue green waters represent some of the main attractions of this park.
Day 07: Manuel Antonio
Breakfast in the hotel. Guided visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. An experienced guide will take you on an informative walk through the park pointing out the sloths, monkeys, and other animals. The walk takes two and a half hours. Enjoy a buffet of fruits and drinks on one of the beaches. After the tour, you may stay in the park or return to the hotel. Entrance fee included.
Day 08: End of Tour*
Breakfast in the hotel. Shared transfer to San Jose Airport. Departure 08H30 – Arrival 13H30 approximately. Important: Please be advised that check in at airline counter must be done three hours prior to flight departure.
