ITINERARY

Day 01: May 28, 2027: Arrive Fairbanks, Alaska
Arrive in Fairbanks and settle into your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Alaska’s northern city at your own pace. Depending on your arrival time, consider visiting Pioneer Park, the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center, or taking a stroll along the Chena River.

Day 02: May 29, 2027: Fairbanks, Alaska
Enjoy a full day in Fairbanks. Optional activities include a riverboat cruise, the Museum of the North, Gold Dredge 8, or relaxing at Chena Hot Springs (seasonal transportation required). [B/L]

Day 03: May 30, 2027: Fairbanks to Denali, Alaska
Board the Alaska Railroad for one of North America’s most scenic rail journeys as you travel south through Alaska’s wilderness to Denali. Enjoy panoramic views of forests, rivers, and mountain landscapes along the way. Mid day arrive in the Denali area and check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the small community surrounding the park entrance. [B/L]

Day 04: May 31, 2027: Denali National Park, Alaska
Experience a full-day excursion into Denali National Park. Travel deep into the park aboard a guided tour, where you’ll have opportunities to view wildlife such as grizzly bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, and, on clear days, spectacular views of Denali, North America’s tallest peak. Return to your hotel for the evening. [B/L]

Day 05: June 01, 2027: Denali to Talkeetna, Alaska
Board the Alaska Railroad for the scenic journey to Talkeetna, a charming historic town known for its mountain views, local art, and unique Alaskan character. Spend the afternoon exploring the quaint downtown, browsing local shops, enjoying a café, or taking in views of Denali (weather permitting). [B/L]

Day 06: June 02, 2027: Talkeetna to Anchorage, Alaska
After a leisurely morning in Talkeetna, board the Alaska Railroad for the final leg of your journey to Anchorage. Upon arrival into Alaska’s largest city, transfer to hotel for the night [B/D]

Day 07: June 03, 2027: Anchorage to Juneau, Alaska
A morning at your leisure, before transferring to the airport for a flight to Juneau, the capital city of Alaska. (Flight included in below pricing) Nestled between towering mountains and the waters of the Gastineau Channel, Juneau is Alaska’s picturesque capital city and one of the few state capitals in the United States that cannot be reached by road. Day 08 - June 04, 2027: Arrive Juneau, Alaska
Visitors can explore the historic downtown, enjoy fresh local seafood, browse artisan shops and galleries, or take optional excursions such as whale watching, visiting the magnificent Mendenhall Glacier, or riding the Mount Roberts Tramway for spectacular panoramic views. Whether arriving by land or sea, Juneau provides an unforgettable introduction to Southeast Alaska and serves as the perfect starting point for an incredible Inside Passage cruise. Day 09 - June 05, 2027: Glacier Bay Scenic Cruising from 7am - 4pm
Designated as an International World Heritage Site in 1992, Glacier Bay is also a National Monument, a National Park and a designated Biosphere Reserve. Over millennia, Glacier Bay has experienced many major advances of its glaciers. When first surveyed in 1794 by a team under the command of British captain George Vancouver on HMS Discovery, its vast glaciers extended well beyond present-day margins of the bay. Temperate, coniferous rainforest dominates its southern shores. Black and brown bears, wolves, moose, eagles and ravens all go about their daily routines, while harbor seals and whales frolic within the bay waters. Glacier Bay has two major arms, East and West, and over fifty named glaciers, some of which push forward at three to six feet per day. Combined with Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Canada’s Kluane National Park and Alsek-Tatshenshini Park, Glacier Bay encompasses the largest protected wilderness area on earth. This is a truly a place of awe-inspiring beauty and an icon of wild Alaska.

Day 10 - June 06, 2027: Wrangell, Alaska
One of the thousands of islands of the Alexander Archipelago, Wrangell Island sits at the heart of the Tongass National Rain Forest and receives approximately 80” (203 cm) of rain per year. The city of Wrangell, a true Alaskan frontier town, sits at the northern end of the island, a short distance from the mouth of the mighty Stikine River. The history of Wrangell is deeply rooted in the Tlingit people, the fur trade and the gold rush. The Stikine River trade route brought the Tlingit people here thousands of years ago, evidenced by some forty petroglyphs at Petroglyph Beach State Historic Site and Totem Park. (B/L/D)

Day 11 - June 07, 2027: Cruising Behm Canal & Rudyerd Bay
The 108-mile Behm Canal runs from the Clarence Strait through the Alexander Archipelago of Southeast Alaska, and into the channel separating Revillagigedo Island from the mainland. It forms part Inside Passage on the route between Ketchikan and the Misty Fjords National Monument. Carved by glaciers and covered in a green carpet of mosses and lichens, Misty Fjords receives more than 150” (381 cm) of rain per year. Western hemlock, Sitka spruce, and western red cedar dominate the prolific vegetation along its shore. (B/L/D)

Day 12 - June 08, 2027: Prince Rupert, British Columbia
Prince Rupert, set amongst the coastal mountains, is the jumping-off point for travelers joining the coastal ferries to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver or north to Alaska. Highlights include the quaint Cow Bay with its shops and restaurants, the Museum of Northern British Columbia, the totem carving house or the stunning sunken gardens. (B/L/D)

Day 13 - June 09, 2027: Grenville Channel, Whale Channel & Princess Royal Channel
Grenville Channel is a long, well-protected channel along the northern British Columbia coast between the large Pitt Island and the mainland. It is an important shipping lane, and you are likely to see ships of many different types and sizes as you pass through. Whale Channel is a picturesque waterway separating Gil Island from Princess Royal Island in British Columbia’s Inside Passage. The Princess Royal Channel separates the largest island along British Columbia’s coast from the mainland. It is located roughly halfway between Bella Bella in the south and Prince Rupert in the north, in one of the province’s most remote areas. (B/L/D)

Day 14 - June 10, 2027: Scenic Cruising through Johnstone Strait, Seymour Narrows & Alert Bay
Johnstone Strait is a well-protected shipping route passing 68 miles/110 km along the northeast shore of Vancouver Island between the island and the mainland of British Columbia. The Seymour Narrows is a 3-mile/5 km stretch of the Discovery Channel north of Vancouver Island, British Columbia that is notorious for the strength of the tidal currents flowing through it. Located on the now-dormant Alert Bay volcanic belt, Cormorant Island is host to Vancouver Island's oldest northern community, the small town of Alert Bay. It is located in the traditional territory of the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation and today is a blend of both aboriginal and pioneer culture.(B/L/D)

Day 15 - June 11, 2027: Vancouver, BC - End of Tour
All good things must come to an end. Disembark the ship and transfer to the Vancouver airport for flight home. (B)
