Day 01 - Mon. Jan 27, 2025: ARRIVE BRISBANE, AU
Visit to the “Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary” where you can see koalas, kangaroos and other amazing animals. Then transfer to the hotel with the balance of the time at leisure.

Day 02 - Tue. Jan 28, 2025: BRISBANE ~ TOOWOOMBA, AU
Depart Brisbane and travel west to a fertile area known as the Darling Downs. Visit one of the largest cattle feedlots in the region. A visit will also be arranged to visit a local rural supplies store – services include merchandise, livestock, horticulture, real estate, finance and insurance. This region is also the center for agricultural equipment dealerships – showcasing the equipment being used by farmers in the surrounding area. A visit to a local dealership will also be included. Check in to centrally located hotel in the city of Toowoomba for the night. Dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. [B/L]

Day 03- Wed. Jan 29, 2025: TOOWOOMBA ~ STANTHORPE, AU
Depart Toowoomba and travel to an area located to the southwest. Visit a family with a mixed cropping enterprise. Intensive cropping and irrigation practices have made this area of Queensland famous with both summer and winter crops such as cotton, soybeans, maize and sorghum, many grown utilising innovative water harvesting and production techniques. Further southeast, visit a leading breeder of stud Charolais and commercial composite beef cattle. Make a stop at Kent Saddlery for a workshop tour. This successful family business has a connection to the Outback and country people, built on servicing and their annual visits to Outback cattle stations for over 30 years. Arrive in the town of Stanthorpe and check in to our hotel. [B/L/D]

Day 04 - Thu. Jan 30, 2025: STANTHORPE ~ ARMIDALE, AU
Following the New England Highway (the inland highway connecting Brisbane to Sydney) to Guyra to visit a successful mixed livestock farmer, with cattle and sheep for both wool and meat. Arrive in the city of Armidale - at an elevation of almost 1,000 m above sea level, it is Australia’s highest city. Visit the University of New England’s Smart Farm & Innovation Centre – showcasing the latest on-site technologies for improving productivity, sustainability and support for Australian farms. Check into your centrally located accommodation for the night. [B/L]

Day 05 - Fri. Jan 31, 2025: ARMIDALE ~ SCONE, AU
Depart Armidale and travel to visit a leading family Poll Hereford and Merino breeding operation, which actively uses BREEDPLAN (a modern genetic evaluation system for beef cattle which is used by breed societies across the world). The family will share with you their strategies for managing their property under previous unseen drought conditions. Visit a large dairy with a Friesian herd. Then continue travelling to an area known as the Liverpool Plains, where there will be a visit to a successful cropping enterprise. Travel on to Scone – located in a very well-known area called the Hunter Valley. Check into hotel. [B/D]

Day 06 - Sat. Feb 01, 2025: SCONE - SYDNEY, AU
Depart Scone and continue the journey south towards Sydney. A visit to a thoroughbred stud farm in the Murrurundi area. The Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s famous wine regions. Enjoy wine tastings and lunch at a winery. Continue into Sydney and checking into the hotel, situated on the Darling Harbour, for a 2-night stay. [B/L]

Day 07 - Sun. Feb 02, 2025: SYDNEY, AU
Enjoy a morning cruise on the world's most beautiful Harbour, Sydney Harbour. The beauty and splendor of the Sydney Harbour, is something that has to be experienced first-hand - no picture or video can do justice to it. After lunch, take a tour of the world-famous “Sydney Opera House”. The balance of the afternoon and evening is free to explore on your own. [B]

Day 08: Mon. Feb 03, 2025: SYDNEY - PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Flight from Hobart (included in pricing) to Perth, located in Western Australia’s south. Meet your local tour guide, who has agricultural knowledge and experience and will be with you for the duration of the tour. Private coach transfer to your well-located accommodation in Fremantle, where you will stay for 2-nights. Enjoy some time to relax before re-grouping this evening for a welcome dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. [D]

Day 09: Tue. Feb 04, 2025: PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
There will be a city coach tour of Perth. Lunch at Botanical Cafe, Kings Park, overlooking the Swan River and the city of Perth. Take a relaxing cruise on the Swan River back to Fremantle. Spend some time at the WA Maritime Museum, where you will see significant historic objects and vessels that highlight WA’s sporting, sailing and adventure heritage. Make your own way back to the hotel at leisure. [B/L]

Day 10: Wed. Feb 05, 2025: PERTH - YORK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Visit the Geraldton Fishermen’s Cooperative (GFC) at Welshpool for a guided tour of this facility. Operating since 1950, GFC are global leaders in rock lobster processing and exportation. The GFC operates sustainably, with its fishermen ensuring the preservation and continuity of the fishery. Departing Perth, there will be a guided tour at the Metro Grain Centre at Forrestfield - a world class grain handling complex – connected by road and rail with the port in Fremantle. It has a total storage capacity of 223,785 tonnes. Also visit their nearby grain technology centre, Australian Grains Centre (AGC), which has the capacity to provide full laboratory analysis for WA produced grains. Travel on to Northam to visit a family business established to manufacture agricultural machinery. The owner has an extensive and interesting history as a farmer and started this very successful business in 1989. Arrive in the historic town of York. Check in to your accommodation for a 1-night stay. [B/L/D]

Day 11: Thu. Feb 06, 2025: YORK - KUKERIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Travel through mixed farming country of livestock and broad acre cropping. Visit a mixed cropping and sheep enterprise at Pingelly to see and discuss wool production and cropping practice in this district. Spend some time at a hay processing plant at Wagin. The company is a premier exporter of quality Australian hay, straw and feed pellets to dairy and beef industries across East Asia and China. Travel east to Kukerin, where a visit will be made to Cambinata Yabbies, one of the most successful producers of this unique freshwater crustacean. Cambinata operates Australia’s largest yabby processing plant, supplying product to some of West Australia’s finest restaurants, as well as exporting to the US, Europe and Asia. Tonight’s accommodation is in the on farm accommodation established by the owners of Cambinata Yabbies. Some members of this 4th generation farming family will join you tonight for dinner, which will include a sample of the Cambinata Yabbies. [B/L/D]

Day 12: Fri. Feb 07, 2025: KUKERIN - ALBANY, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
This morning after breakfast continue the journey south. Visit a prime lamb and sheep breeding operation with a lamb feedlot, as well as a grain mill, and impressive flock of Merino, Dorper and other breeds used for their artificial breeding centre (AI and ET). Lunch at the West Cape Howe Winery – one of the premier wine makers in Western Australia. This afternoon, visit one of the most impressive Gelbvieh cattle studs in the country with time to observe livestock and discuss management objectives with the owners. Later travel on to the historic port city and old whaling station of Albany (the state’s first settlement), to check-in to your hotel. [B/L]

Day 13 Sat. Feb 08, 2025: ALBANY - BRUSSELTON, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Depart westwards with a brief stop in Denmark and then on to the spectacular Valley of the Giants, for a self-guided walk on the elevated walkways through the treetops. Near Pemberton there will be a visit to an avocado orchard and packing shed. This family owned and operated business has been growing world-class avocados since 2000, supplying markets in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. Their 110ha orchard is one of the best in Australia and the Hass avocado they produce is amongst the highest quality in the world. Afternoon arrival in the town of Busselton. The Busselton beachfront features the 19th century Busselton Jetty. At 1.8 kilometres long, it is the longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy a return train trip along the famous Busselton Jetty to the Underwater Observatory to see the coral reef. Check into your beachside resort for a 1-night stay. Busselton is located on the southwest tip of Western Australia. [B/L/D]

Day 14: Sun. Feb 09, 2025: BRUSSELTON - PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Travel to the nearby Margaret River region. Visit a locally owned and operated business that creates specific feed for chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, sheep, venison, ostrich, cattle, camels & horses. Visit the retail shop of the Margaret River Venison Farm - WA’s largest and oldest Venison farm – rearing Red Deer (Venison) with the original bloodlines reaching back to England and Scotland. Receive a presentation on the farming of venison and the business from owner. Margaret River is home to some of Australia’s most remarkable wines and spectacular vineyards. Visit a winery for lunch and a wine tasting. Travel north to Perth and check in to accommodation in the city for a 1-night stay. [B/L]

Day 15: Mon. Feb 17, 2025: END OF TOUR
