18 August:  Johannesburg – Livingstone, Zambia
A mid-morning flight from Johannesburg into Livingstone, Zambia (Flight included in price).  Visit the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the World.  David Livingstone was the first European who discovered the falls on 16 November 1855.  We visit the curio market where you can bargain for a variety of crafts including magnificently carved animals. You may wish to take an optional helicopter flight over Victoria Falls (own account).

19 August: Livingstone – Kasane, Botswana
This morning we depart for Botswana.  After an hour’s drive through a National Park and past native villages we reach the Kazangula border post.  On both sides of the river large trucks queue for days to cross by ferry and it is a chaotic scene. We cross the Zambezi River by boat and transfer to our game lodge on the banks of the Chobe River.  This afternoon take a boat cruise on the Chobe River or just relax at the Lodge.  We will see a variety of game such as elephants, crocodiles, hippos and a lot more, all drawn to the refreshing coolness of the water after a hot day. For the bird enthusiasts it is a real paradise, with various species to be seen.  Tonight we enjoy dinner at the lodge.

20 August: Kasane
Before breakfast we will depart on a game drive in the Chobe Game Reserve where approximately 45,000 elephants and herds of up to 2,000 buffalo along with other game roam. We take a mid-day boat cruise on the Chobe River.  This offers a different perspective from the evening cruise and you may see large herds of elephants coming to the river to drink or even swimming across the Chobe. Dinner at the lodge.

21 August: Kasane
Following breakfast, visit a traditional village to learn more about the culture of this indigenous tribe. Alternatively you can go on a game drive this morning or go tiger fishing which can be an awesome experience.  This evening we enjoy dinner at the lodge.

22 August: Kasane – Johannesburg – Pretoria
Late morning we transfer to Kasane airport for our flight to Johannesburg departing early afternoon. On arrival in Johannesburg, we continue to Pretoria and check in to our hotel.
