Join us on this tour of India.  You experience Indian Agriculture during our visits to the milk collection stations, on the short ox cart ride to the farm village, spontaneous stops to see the mustard farm harvest, visit the flower seed farm, & rice harvesting on the farms.  As we drive through the country side you will see the farm tractor repair shops, trucks hauling the sugar cane from the farm, and the many cattle & goats roaming freely along the road side.  Enjoy the smiling faces of the colorful Indian people and the smell of the spices at the street vendors.  Visit one of the 7 wonders of the world – The Taj Mahal, majestic forts, and opulent palaces.  Embrace the chaos of the traffic and the sound of the horns honking.  Everyday in India is an adventure which will exceed your expectations.

Day 1 - Fri, Feb 23, 2018      [IFM]
Depart North America on an overnight flight to India.

Day 2 - Sat, Feb 24, 2018   [IFM]
Upon arrival into India, clear local Customs.  You are met and transfer to your hotel for a four-night stay.

Day 3 - Sun, Feb 25, 2018   [B/L/D]
A free morning, then tour Old Delhi, including a visit to the Red Fort - built in 1648 and one of the largest mosques in India, plus take a rickshaw ride to visit a spice market.  Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 4 - Mon, Feb 26, 2018   Delhi    [B/L/D]     
Enjoy a morning tour of New Delhi, with visits that will include India Gate, War Memorial Arch, and driving past both the President's House and the Parliament House. Afternoon at leisure. 

Day 5 - Tue, Feb 27, 2018,  Delhi    [B/L/D]
This morning, departure from the city to visit the Amul Milk Plant, a state-of-the-art dairy factory that produces Milk, Curd, Ice Cream and Cheese. In the evening, visit Surjivan Farm and organic and herbal farm, for Cocktails and Dinner. Overnight back in Delhi.

Day 6 - Wed, Feb 28, 2018   Ludhian       [B/L/D]
Visit the largest Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market in Asia this morning, where trading and auctioning take place early every morning.  Later visit a Rice Mill before driving north to Ludhiana in the Punjabi region.  Upon arrival into Ludhiana, check into hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Thu, Mar 1, 2018     Delhi     [B/L/D]   
A morning visit with the farmer at Beauscape Farms - a vegetable & seed producer as well as a wheat farm. Later, visit the Gill Farm - a progressive family farm on the outskirts of Ludhiana. Transfer to the railway station to make a train journey back to Delhi and an overnight stay. 

Day 8 - Fri, Mar 2, 2018     Khajuraho   [B/L/D]
Transfer to the airport this morning for the short flight to Khajuraho and visit the world famous Khajuraho Temple - built by Chandela Kings between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D.  Spend the next    2 nights in Khajuraho.  

Day 9 - Sat, Mar 3, 2018     Khajuraho   [B/L/D] 
Visit a Traditional Farm that still useD bullock carts.  It is an experience to ride one of these carts to the farm house for lunch. This evening enjoy entertainment at a Classical Dance Show. 

Day 10 - Sun, Mar 04, 2018   Agra    [B/L/D]      
This is a day to drive through the countryside to Jhansi.  Enroute visit Orcha whose grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time and a rich legacy to the ages.  The palaces and the temples built in the 16th and 17th century andretain much of their pristine perfection. Get spectacular view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs.  From Jhansi transfer to the railway station to connect with the train to Agra.  Check into hotel in Agra for a 2-night stay.  

Day 11 - Mon, Mar 05, 2018    Agra    [B/L/D]        
Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal-built by Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal.  Return to hotel for breakfast then visit Sikandara, Itmad-Ud-Duala and Agra Fort. Sikandara- is “Emperor Akbar's” mausoleum; Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Duala was built between 1622-28 by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father; Agra Fort contains halls of Private and Public audiences and other palaces. 

Day 12 - Tue, Mar 06, 2018   Ranthambore National Park   [B/L/D]     
Depart for Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve. Enroute to the park, visit Fatehpur Sikri.  Upon arrival into the park check into hotel for a 2-night stay. This afternoon on safari you look for the illusive tiger.

Day 13 - Wed, Mar 07, 2018     Ranthambore National Park   [B/L/D]     
Enjoy a morning and afternoon game run. The park is a congenial habitat for the stately Sambar - the largest of all Asiatic deer, water birds and   crocodiles . The park is a wildlife enthusiast and photographer’s dream. 

Day 14 – Thu, Mar 08, 2018     Jaipur   [B/L/D]    
Once more, a safari in the park and lunch before traveling to Jaipur–known as the “Pink City” and the best ‘planned city’ in India, for a 3-night stay.

Day 15 – Fri, Mar 09, 2018   Jaipur     [B/L/D]      
Visit Amber Fort in the morning, the ancient capital of the state. You can ascend via elephant or jeep down the hill on which the fort is situated.  In the afternoon visit the Milk Collection Centre.

Day 16 – Sat, Mar 10, 2018   Jaipur     [B/L/D]      
A morning tour of Jaipur visiting the city palace and observatory.  The afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy a “Farewell Dinner” this evening at Skipper Farm- this is a 30 acres agriculture farm is a typical Indian farm with thatched roofs and mud plastered wall.  The farm has tube wells used for irrigating crops such as wheat, barley, millet and vegetables. 

Day 17 - Sun, Mar 11, 2018   Delhi      [B/L/D]     
Depart Jaipur to drive to Delhi and the last night spent in this spectacular country at an airport hotel.  

Day 18 - Mon, Mar 12, 2018 End of Tour     [B/IFM]  
A morning transfer to the Delhi airport for the flight back to North America.
