ITINERARY

Day 1 – June 5, 2026: Arrive to Moncton, New Brunswick

Welcome to the Maritimes! Meet your local tour host and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening. (D)

Day 2 – June 6, 2026: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Begin the day marvelling at the natural wonder of Hopewell Rocks, where towering flowerpot formations rise from the ocean floor and the world’s highest tides leave their mark (ocean floor access time varies and will be at the discretion of park staff). Continue your journey across the iconic Confederation Bridge, a breathtaking gateway to Prince Edward Island. Before arriving in Charlottetown, make a stop at a potato farm to learn about PEI’s potato farming industry and view their collection of antique farming equipment. (B, L, D)

Day 3 – June 7, 2026: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Today you will explore the North Shore of Prince Edward Island. Begin your day at Allan Equipment, Canada’s largest designer of potato harvesters, as well as blueberry harvesters and mowers. Next, visit the Farmers Bank of Rustico, a historic site that highlights PEI’s early community banking. Continue to the charming fishing village of North Rustico, known for its colorful harbor and local shops. Travel along the scenic PEI National Park, stopping at Cavendish Beach to enjoy its iconic red cliffs and sandy shores. Round out your day with a classic lobster dinner before returning to Charlottetown. (B, D)

Day 4 – June 8, 2026: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

This morning’s journey takes you to Eastern PEI where you will visit the University of Prince Edward Island’s Canadian Centre for Climate Change & Adaptation to gain insight into the region’s efforts to address environmental challenges and promote resilience in agriculture. After an included lunch you will head back to Charlottetown for free time to explore the downtown area. (B, L)

Day 5 – June 9, 2026: Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Depart Prince Edward Island this morning and travel on to Cape Breton, taking in the scenic drives and coastal beauty along the way. Pause in Antigonish for a visit to the famous Peace by Chocolate store, where a sweet treat comes with an inspiring story of resilience and community. Conclude the day with dinner accompanied by lively musical entertainment, an introduction to the culture and spirit of Cape Breton. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – June 10, 2026: Overnight: New Glasgow, Nova Scotia

Set out on one of the world’s most celebrated drives: the Cabot Trail. With a local guide leading the way, wind through rugged coastal cliffs, sweeping highland plateaus, and charming fishing villages. Along every turn, discover stories, scenery, and viewpoints that capture the very heart of Cape Breton’s breathtaking beauty. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – June 11, 2026: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Travel into Nova Scotia’s fertile Annapolis Valley, a region known for its rich farmland and rolling vineyard landscapes. Visit a local dairy farm to see firsthand the traditions and innovations shaping life on the land. Then, savor a leisurely lunch and tasting at a valley winery. In the afternoon, continue to Halifax where you will check in to your downtown hotel. (B, L)

Day 8 – June 12, 2026: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Discover the charm of Nova Scotia’s South Shore with a local guide, where the colorful UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg meets the iconic lighthouse and rugged coastline of Peggy’s Cove. This scenic region offers a perfect blend of maritime history, coastal beauty, and small-town warmth. Visit the Ecology Action Centre for an overview of their Kelp Kurious project to learn about opportunities in the seaweed farming sector. Return to Halifax and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)
