Depart North America for an overnight flight to Athens, Greece.

October 15, 2019: ARRIVE ATHENS, GREECE
Arrive and transfer to hotel for the night.

October 16, 2019: ATHENS (PIRAEUS), GREECE
Enjoy a city tour before boarding Regent Seven Seas “Voyager” for 10 wonderful cruising days.

October 17, 2019: MYTILINI (LESBOS), GREECE 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Officially named Lesbos, more often called Mytilini after its principal city, the island is the third largest in Greece, famed for its olive oil. Its undulating hills are said to support 11 million olive trees, which glisten silver in the sunlight, while the higher peaks are swathed in deep pine forests. It was the birthplace of leading figures in the intellectual world, such as Sappho, the world’s greatest lyrical poetess; Pittacus, one of the Seven Sages of antiquity; the poet Alcaeus and many, many others.

October 18, 2019: ISTANBUL, TURKEY Arrive 8:00 AM
Once serving as the capital of the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires, Istanbul today offers impressive architecture, historic sites, dining, shopping, nightlife and exotic atmosphere.

October 19, 2019: ISTANBUL, TURKEY Depart 1:00 PM
Spend time in the Old City to explore renowned places, like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
A special birthday party is planned for this day.

October 20, 2019: MYKONOS, GREECE 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Steeped in Greek mythological history, Mykonos was named after Apollo’s grandson, Mykons, and was the location of the grand battle between Zeus and the Gigantes. Today, this island is one of Greece’s most adored destinations due to its picture- postcard setting and growing nightlife. Mykonos is a superb example of Cycladic architecture, and by law even new buildings have to be built in the same style of whitewashed, organic, cube-like buildings. Be sure to plan a day trip to take in picturesque Little Venice, the unique Paraportiani church, and the archeological dig at Delos.

October 21, 2019: CRUISING THE IONIAN SEA
A day at sea to acquaint yourself with the amenities. Watch the world go by, enjoy a coffee, or just watch people as they go by.

October 22, 2019: NAPLES, ITALY 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Spend a day exploring the fabulous ruins of ancient Pompeii and Herculaneum with their stunning temples, frescoes and mosaics. Explore fascinating Naples and its famed museums, visit charming Sorrento or take a boat trip to the beautiful Isle of Capri.

October 23, 2019: ROME (CIVITAVECChHIA), ITALY 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Whether enjoying the street performers at the Spanish Steps and people-watching over a fine glass of wine in colorful Trastevere, or taking in the historical and architectural glory that is Rome, visitors are spoiled for choice in this truly Eternal City. St. Peter’s Basilica is a full-day outing, featuring the Sistine Chapel and panoramic city vistas for those willing to climb to the top of the dome. Other landmarks not to miss include the renowned Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, and Aventine Hill, which provides you with a grand view of the imposing remains of the Imperial Palaces and the Circus Maximus, of Ben Hur fame.

October 24, 2019: MONTE CARLO, MONACO 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Tiny, but packed with fun, Monte Carlo offers a wonderful combination of history, beauty, entertainment and leisure. The wealthiest spot in Monaco, Monte Carlo is an enchanting place, known as the international capital of luxury and for its celebrity-sightings, casinos and nightlife. Yet the old world shines through in its art and architecture. Palaces, cathedrals and museums dot this small municipality in an old town full of rich history. Be sure to catch the once-daily changing of the guard, then tour the public areas at the Palais du Prince, home to the royal family, whose most famous resident was famous actress Grace Kelly.

October 25, 2019: PROVENCE (MARSEILLE), FRANCE 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Located in southeastern France, today’s Marseille is a far cry from the sleepy villages it once inspired in Cézanne’s paintings. With more than a million people, the city remains the cosmopolitan and exuberant capital of southern Europe, with its picturesque Old Quarter, lively sidewalk cafes and shops, and Romanesque-Byzantine Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, overlooking the steep cliffs and offering a bird’s eye view of the city’s colorful “quartiers” stretching down toward the sea.

October 26, 2019: BARCELONA, SPAIN - ROME, ITALY
All too soon, your wonderful cruise comes to an end. Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to Rome, Italy. Upon arrival into Rome, transfer to your Tuscan Villa for a 7-night stay. Enjoy a “Welcome Dinner” this evening.

October 27, 2019, VILLA / MONTISI [B/L/D]
This morning you depart the villa and go to a local village to learn about the process of making Olive Oil and have lunch. This is the time of the olive harvest. There will be time to explore in the local village before returning to the villa for happy hour and dinner.

October 28, 2018: VILLA / BRUNELO WINES [B/L/D]
As you are visiting this area during the last of the wine harvest, a morning visit to ‘Brunelo Wines’ has been arranged for a tour and tasting, including lunch. Here you will also get to visit an historic monetary before returning to the villa for happy hour later in the afternoon and dinner.

October 29, 2019: VILLA /PIENZA [B/L/D]
Today you travel to the historical hilltop town of Pienza. In 1996, UNESCO declared the town a World Heritage Site, and in 2004 the entire valley of Val d'Orcia, was included on the list of UNESCO's World Cultural Landscapes. There is time to explore on your own before making a short drive to a local farm for lunch and great views out over the valley. Return to the villa later in the afternoon for happy hour and dinner.

October 30, 2019: VILLA / POGGIO GRANDE WINES [B/L/D]
Breakfast at villa. Depart the villa at 10:00 am with a guide to visit village of San Quirico d’Orcia followed by visit to the winery “Poggio Grande”. For more than a century the Zamperini family have dedicated themselves to the farm, retaining the old farming traditions in the breeding and cultivation and care of the vineyards, olive trees and woods surrounding the farm. Wine tasting including prosciutto and pecorino. On the way back, stop in the village of Bagno Vignoni for a visit and a chance to swim in the Natural Hot Pools. Return to the villa later in the afternoon for happy hour and dinner.

October 31, 2019: VILLA [B/L/D]
This is a day spent at the villa. In the morning there is a pasta cooking class with the chef. In the afternoon, relax at the villa. May we suggest booking an optional massage at the villa, which has been a highlight in times past. Happy hour, dinner and overnight at villa.

November 01, 2019: VILLA /MONTEPULCIANO [B/L/D]
Following breakfast at the villa, depart for Montepulciano with time on our own then a visit to an historic winery cellar with lunch and tasting included. Time to explore this hilltop village before returning to the villa later in the afternoon. Enjoy the last happy hour and Farewell Dinner at the villa this evening.

November 02, 2019: VILLA / END OF TOUR [B]
Unfortunately your time at the villa has come to an end. You depart the villa in the morning and transfer to the a hotel in Rome for a 1-night stay.

November 03, 2019: VILLA / END OF TOUR [IFM]
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to North America.
