Experience the heart of Scotland on this immersive 10-day farm and culture tour, winding through the breathtaking Highlands. Visit traditional farms, castles, and iconic landmarks like Blair Castle, Loch Ness, and the Isle of Skye. Enjoy authentic Scottish hospitality, explore local agriculture—from pedigree cattle to soft fruits—and even join a lively traditional Ceilidh. This unforgettable journey blends rural charm with rich heritage, offering a true taste of Scotland. Then - Let the luck of the Irish be with you on this 12-day guided tour across Ireland, “Designed” by Select Holidays. Start the tour in Dublin, where you get up close to the Book of Kells, an ancient Gospel manuscript filled with mythical beasts and Celtic knots. A chef will share traditional Irish recipes at a farm-to-table feast in Killarney. You'll see the Ring of Kerry, a mystical, verdant peninsula dotted with seaside villages. Finally, step onto Giant's Causeway with it's basalt columns carved onto the coast by volcanic lava, or a giant's feet, if Irish myth is to be believed.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Sunday, May 31, 2026: Depart Canada – Edinburgh, Scotland   [IFM]
Depart Canada for an overnight flight to Edinburgh.

Day 02: Monday, June 01, 2026: Edinburgh – Pitlochry, Scotland   [L/D]
Arrive to the Edinburgh International Airport. Meet with your local guide, driver and coach. Transfer to the countryside, to Perthshire. Enjoy a farm visit – a traditional farm that maintains its own herd of pedigree Charolais cattle, which have been bred on the farm since 1969. Continue to a pea, beans, soft fruits, potatoes, cereals farm. This farm have long-standing trusted suppliers to some of the world’s major retailers including Aldi, Marks & Spencer and Tesco. Transfer to Pitlochry and check into your hotel for two nights.

Day 03: Tuesday, June 02, 2026: Pitlochry, Scotland   [B/D]
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy free time in Pitlochry to explore on your own. Visit to Blair Castle & Gardens, the historic home of the Dukes of Atholl, is a stunning landmark in Perthshire, Scotland, surrounded by extensive gardens and grounds, including a nine-acre walled garden, a wooded grove, and a red deer park. Afternoon farm visit to a 30,000 acre farm with over 800 Blackface ewes and 145 spring calving cows. Dinner at hotel this evening.

Day 04: Wednesday, June 03, 2026: Pitlochry – Aviemore – Inverness, Scotland   [B/D]
Breakfast at the hotel before a morning farm visit to a large deer and forestry farm. Afternoon visit to Tilly’s Reindeer Farm. Meet with Tilly Smith for a tour of her reindeer farm established over 50 years ago, predominantly bred for meat but also for countrywide Christmas events! Dinner and overnight in Inverness.

Day 05: Thursday, June 04, 2026: Inverness – Balmacara, Scotland  [B/D]
Breakfast at the hotel before a visit to a family run dairy farm/cheese processing. The organic dairy herd of 150 cows, mostly Holstein Friesian with Jersey crosses and Norwegian Reds and they graze the luscious clover pastures around the dairy. Transfer to Balmacara for dinner and overnight, your home for the next two nights.

Day 06: Friday, June 05, 2026: Balmacara – Isle of Skye – Balmacara  [B/D]
Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Portree. Free time in Portree, the capital town on the Isle of Skye. Portree is the main village on Skye and is location in the centre of the Island in the Highlands of Scotland. Afternoon visit to Kilt Rock for a photo stop. A striking sea cliff on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, is known for its basalt columns that resemble the pleats of a traditional Scottish kilt, offering breathtaking views and a popular tourist attraction. Scenic transfer to Duntulm Castle for a private visit. Dinner and overnight in Balmacara.

Day 07: Saturday, June 06, 2026: Balmacara – Loch Ness – Stirling, Scotland  [B/D]
Breakfast at the hotel before a transfer to a Loch Ness Cruise for a two-hour adventure. Your voyage will include a one-hour cruise across the mysterious waters of Loch Ness. You’ll then hop ashore for a one-hour visit to explore historic Urquhart Castle and its turbulent past. An afternoonfarm visit to a sheep farm, one of the few remaining hill sheep farms at the north end of Loch Lomond. Transfer to Stirling for dinner and overnight.

Day 08: Sunday, June 07, 2026: Stirling – Edinburgh, Scotland  [B/D]
A morning visit to Stirling United Auctions, Scotland's leading livestock auctioneers and procurement specialists operating a network of auction marts throughout Scotland. Continue to Stirling Castle for a tour. Transfer to the Falkirk Wheel, a rotating boat lift in Tamfourhill, Falkirk. Transfer to The Kelpies for a photo stop before arriving to Edinburgh for a dinner and overnight.

Day 09: Monday, June 08, 2026: Edinburgh, Scotland  [B/D]
A morning walking tour of Edinburgh with local Blue Badge Guide ending at Edinburgh Castle. Visit to Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Castle is a historic castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. It stands on Castle Rock, which has been occupied by humans since at least the Iron Age. Afternoon farm visit to a thriving soft fruit and vegetable farm. Final dinner tonight will be a traditional Scottish Ceilidh with entertainment. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 10: Tuesday, June 09, 2026: Edinburgh – Dublin, Ireland [B]
Transfer to Edinburgh International Airport for flight to Dublin. Transfer to the centrally located hotel in Dublin. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11- June 10, 2026: Arrive Dublin, Ireland [B/D]
Enjoy a hop-on-hop-off bus experience of downtown Dublin. Dinner and overnight in Dublin.

Day 12- June 11, 2026: Dublin, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Meet with a Local Step-On Guide for a panoramic sightseeing tour of Dublin, including O’Connell Street, Phoenix Park, Leinster House. Visit - Trinity College Library, one of the world’s great research libraries, holding the largest collection of manuscripts and printed books in Ireland. Experience an Irish “must-do” - a visit and tasting at the Guinness Storehouse. The tour takes you step by step through the brewing process, finishing at the Gravity Bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness whilst enjoying the panoramic views over Dublin city. This evening enjoy the The Merry Ploughboy, widely regarded as the best traditional music show in Dublin. A highly entertaining performance of live traditional Irish Music, song and Irish dancing, all while enjoying the very best of fresh Irish food. Overnight in Dublin.

Day 13- June 12, 2026: Dublin - Tipperary - Cork, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Cork. Visit to a Dairy Farm. The farm comprises 282 acres of both owned and leased land that supports grazing for 400 Cows. The farm have a largely grass based farming operation using New Zealand principles. Visit to a Sheep Farm which dates back from 1798. The farm is 300 acres in size comprising two blocks of land with 700 ewes and 180 ewe lamb replacements. Dinner and overnight at Blarney Castle Hotel, Blarney, for a two night stay.

Day 14- June 13, 2026: Cork, Ireland [B/L/D]
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Tim O'Leary Dairy Farm. This farmer is the former Vice-President of the Irish Farmers Association and consists of 128 Hectares: 120ha grass, 8ha woods and roadways. Visit - Blarney Castle. The Castle was built in 1446 as a defensive fortress. The castle which stands today is in fact the keep of a much larger fortress. All visitors should kiss the famous Blarney Stone, high up on the Castle battlements. Tradition holds that those who kiss the Blarney Stone will be endowed with the gift of eloquence - “the gift of the gab” as the locals call it. After the Castle, you can visit the Blarney Woolen Mills Store. Free time in Blarney or Cork city. Dinner and overnight near Blarney Castle.

Day 15- June 14, 2026: Cork - Ring of Kerry - Killarney, Ireland [B/L/D]
Today will consist of a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry via Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville & the Coomakesta Pass. Travel on via Sneem, Moll’s Gap, Ladies View, Killarney National Park and along the Lakes of Killarney. Take in the magnificent views of this full day adventure! After lunch, enjoy a Irish Sheepdog demonstration at Kissane Sheep Farm. Dinner and overnight in Killarney.

Day 16- June 15, 2026: Killarney, - Galway, Ireland [B/D]
Depart for Galway, visit to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, the first castle was built by a Norman, Thomas de Clare in the 13th century. Afternoon visit to the famous Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s favorite visitor experiences. Walk the safe, paved pathways and view the incredible Cliffs that sit on Europe’s most westerly tip and enjoy the spectacular vistas over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands. Travel through the Burren, famous for its lunar-like limestone landscape and its unique flora. About 20 species of Orchids grow wild here! Dinner and overnight in Galway.

Day 17- June 16, 2026: Galway - Donegal - Derry, Northern Ireland [B/L/D]
Departing Galway, enjoy a family run potato farm. Their potatoes are stored, packaged, weighed and graded on-farm, and sold to local supermarkets. This farm also features cattle and sheep herds. After lunch enjoy a visit to Drumbuoy Farm, which is a commercial tillage Farm enterprise established in 1954. The farmer owns a fleet of modern machinery and uses GPS technology – section control, auto steer and vehicle tracking. Most of the grain is sold directly to local beef and pig farmers and a small quantity through local merchants. Dinner and overnight in Derry.

Day 18- June 17, 2026: Derry - Antrim - Belfast, Northern Ireland [B/L/D]
A morning Guided Walk of Derry which is the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland. The walls were built during the period 1613-1618 as defenses for early 17th-century settlers from England and Scotland. After lunch, depart for the Giants Causeway, renowned for its hexagonal columns of layered basalt and known as the only World Heritage site in Northern Ireland. Continuing towards Belfast, visit a Beef farm, home to pedigree Belgian Blue & Hereford herds. This farmer has a cattle semen agency with over 300 clients across Northern Ireland. Dinner and overnight in Belfast City, for three nights.

Day 19- June 18, 2026: Belfast, Northern, Ireland [B/D]
Enjoy a morning guided Black Taxi Tour Belfast. This is no ordinary taxi tour, it is a tour of the sites and areas where the troubles in Belfast were concentrated. Your taxi driver will bring you to the areas your coach can’t go, the small streets, the peace wall and the estates, giving you his unique perspective on these troubled times. Afternoon visit to the Titanic Experience Belfast which extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way. Afternoon free before dinner and overnight at in Belfast City.

Day 20- June 19, 2026: Belfast [B/L/D]
A morning tour of the city of Armagh, It is a site of historical importance for both Celtic paganism and Christianity. Continue to the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum. Learn about how the linen industry started in Ireland, and how important it was for Ireland’s early economy. After lunch, Continue to an apple farm, which grows over 80 hectares of Bramley Apples. Dinner and overnight in Belfast City.

Day 21- June 20, 2026: Dublin / End of Tour [B/IFM]
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Dublin Airport for your return flight to North America.
