Day 01: Feb 14, 2018: Dubai [IFM]
The Adventure begins with an overnight flight from North America to Dubai.
Day 02: Feb 15, 2018: Dubai[IFM/D]
Arrive Dubai and transfer to hotel for an overnight.
Day 03: Feb 16, 2018: Dubai-Arusha, Tanzania [IFM/D]
Transfer back to the Dubai airport for a flight from Dubai to Arusha, Tanzania. Met and transfer to the Lake Duluti Lodge for a 2-nightstay.
Day 04: Feb 17, 2018: Arusha Farm Tours [B/L/D]
This whole day will be spent touring wheat, avocado and banana plantations with lunch provided at a local farm.
Day 05: Feb 18, 2018: Arusha - Lake Manyara [B/L/D]
Tour the coffee plantation this morning then depart Arusha for Lake Manyara for an overnight stay in a lodge overlooking the Great Rift Valley.
Day 06: Feb 19, 2018: Arusha - Serengeti [B/L/D]
Depart from Lake Manyaratraveling towards the Serengeti for a 3-night stay at Ndutu Under Canvas Luxury Camp. The camp is located situated between the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The unique location is witness to the Wildebeest Migration which takes place between December and April each year.
Day 07: Feb 20, 2018: Serengeti [B/L/D]
This is a full day of game viewing into the Serengeti. A picnic lunch will be provided this day. The word Serengeti means “Endless Plain”. It is from here that massive concentrations of wildebeest and other animals commence the
annual Great Migration, providing one of the greatest natural spectacles to be found anywhere in the world. You can watch golden-maned lions stalking the migrating herds, spot leopards at rest in trees.
Day 08: Feb 21, 2018: Serengeti[B/L/D]
Morning game drive then return to camp for lunch and some free time before departing on an afternoon safari around the lake and area.
Day 09: Feb 22, 2018: Serengeti - Ngorogongoro [B/L/D]
Depart Ndutu Under Canvas camp, and travel to the luxurious Neptune Lodge in time for lunch and a 2-night stay. The afternoon free to enjoy the pool and hotel facilities. This is an “All Inclusive” lodge including meals and drinks.
Day 10: Feb 23, 2018: Ngorogongoro [B/L/D]
Today you drive into the Ngorogongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The high walls of the crater itself, serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. Return to Neptune Lodge in the late afternoon.
Day 11: Feb 24, 2018: Ngorogongoro - Arusha [B/L/IFM]
Depart the Neptune Lodge and return to Arusha for lunch. This afternoon, check into the flight to South Africa for the next leg of this Great Adventure! At the Johannesburg Tambo Airport our guide will escort you to the airport hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 12: Feb 25, 2018: Arusha - Kasane, Botswana [B/L/D]
This morning, fly to Kasane, Botswana and transfer to the Chobe Bush Lodge for a 3-night stay. Picture yourself in the large swimming pool, with a stunning African sunset as a backdrop, or on the outside deck with fresh coffee, while the morning sun warms your face and birds serenade you with song. The Chobe Bush Lodge is a luxurious retreat in the middle of the bush, where you get to see some of the most un-spoilt natural splendor and wildlife of Africa.
Day 13: Feb 26, 2018: Chobe Bush Lodge [B/L/D]
The lodge is a mere 150m from the Chobe River and provided easy access into the Chobe national Park. Included this day will be a boat cruise, a game drive and a 2-hour fishing excursion to try your hand at catching a tiger fish.
Day 14: Feb 27, 2018: Chobe Bush Lodge [B/L/D]
Today will be another boat cruise and game drive plus a visit to a Namibian village. There also will be leisure time to enjoy the lodge and all it has to offer.
Day 15: Feb 28, 2018: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe [B/L/D]
Travel from Chobe to Victoria Falls by road and check into the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for a 3-night stay. The lodge is situated on a plateau that forms the natural boundary to the unfenced Zambezi National Park and is close to the thundering Victoria Falls.
Day 16: Mar 01, 2018: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Zimbabwe [B/L/D]
A morning optional helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls). Enjoy a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls and encompassing nature reserve. The falls can be heard from miles around as tons of water plunge over the chasm that is nearly 2 km wide and falls into the Zambezi River below. The tour takes you to the best points of this iconic waterfalls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 17: Mar 02, 2018: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Zimbabwe [B/L/D]
Tours to a tobacco and banana farm are planned for this day. The highlight will be lunch at the Elephant Café. This exclusive restaurant offers local food and fine wines plus an ambience that is out of this world. Return to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to enjoyfor leisure time and a Farewell Boma Dinner. A traditional story teller will add the extra element of intrigue and drama to the evening. Face painting is optional.
Day 18: Mar 03, 2018: Victoria Falls - Dubai [B/IFM]
Transfer to the Victoria Falls Airport for a flight back to Johannesburg and a connecting overnight flight to Dubai. (Ask about a Dubai stop-over package)
Day 19: Mar 04, 2018 Dubai - North America and End of Tour [IFM]
Arrive Dubai and transfer to the flight back to North America.
