Depart Adelaide to fly to Hobart, Tasmania. On arrival meet your driver/guide and transfer to the hotel for a 2-night stay.     If time permits travel up to Mt. Wellington this afternoon.  This evening's dinner will be at a one of the cities renowned seafood restaurants on Battery Point overlooking Constitution Dock.

Feb 03, 2018:   Sat   HOBART  (B)
After breakfast, visit the iconic outdoor Salamanca Markets to see the variety of unique culture, arts and food/fresh produce on display.  Then view Battery Point, Salamanca Place and Constitution Docks.  Later, tour through the beautiful Huon Valley, home of Tasmania's indigenous timber, to see the panorama and the many apple orchards dotting the countryside.  Return to Hobart this afternoon via the scenic coastal road.  Overnight: Hobart

Feb 04, 2018:   Sun   HOBART -  PORT ARTHUR     (B/D)
Today, visit historic Richmond and walk through thevillage with its elegant Georgian architecture and see Australia's     oldest bridge before continuing to drive to the historic Port   Arthur Convict Settlement, site of     Australia's most infamous prison during the convict era.  See the beautifully   structured church, penitentiary, museum, guard tower and cruise around the 'Isleof the Dead' where gravestones mark the burial ground of over 2000 people who died here during the convict era.  Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. After dinner join a guided Ghost Tour - a lantern lit walking tour of theprison ruins.

Travel through the Derwent Valley to New Norfolk the centre of Tasmania's hop growing business.  Continue to Derwent Bridge and visit the Wall In The Wilderness, an art project which has carved Tasmania's history of the highlands in 100m of timber.  End a long scenic travelling day in the picturesque seaside fishing town of Strahan for a 2-night stay.

This morning, enjoy a scenic cruise along the Gordon River, navigating the calm waters of one of the world's last             untouched wilderness areas, stopping for walking tours at Heritage Landing and Sarah Island.  A buffet lunch on board the vessel isincluded.  Return to Strahan with free time to explore this delightful village on your own.  Overnight: Strahan

Travel through the historic mining town of Zeehan and enjoy the west coast wilderness this morning.  Arrive into Cradle   Valley and visit the Information Centre to see the interesting displays on this World Heritage Area.  Enjoy a guided tour of Dove Lake and Waldheim Chalet, once home of pioneer Gustav Weindorfer.  Overnight: Cradle Mountain

Feb 08, 2018:  Thu   CRADLE MOUNTAIN - SMITHTON    (B/D)
Travel up to the north coast to historic Woolworth Station, a sheep and cattle property on 22,000 hectares. Enjoy a   guided tour of Cape Grim, reputed to have the cleanest air in the world, the property itself and the wind farm.  Arrive into Smithton for dinner and an overnight stay.  Overnight:  Smithton

Feb 09, 2018:   Fri   SMITHTON - LAUNCESTON    (B/D)
Visit Stanley for a chairlift ride up to the dominant headland known as 'The Nut' and be rewarded with superb coastal views. Continue through Sheffield and see the wonderful murals on the walls of the buildings before arriving into Launceston and   a visit to Cataract Gorge.   Enjoy a Farewell Dinner and an overnight stay.  Overnight: Launceston
