About me: Raised on a farm, married my childhood sweetheart in 1960 and lived on the farm up until 4 years ago when we moved to Innisfail. Raised 4 sons, all married and have 5 grandsons and 4 granddaughters.
Our 2 oldest sons farm the 5th generation farm, our 2 youngest are in travel.
Favorite Trip/Destination: The Canadian North in the summer
Why: 24 hour daylight, friendly people and a slower pace

Places I have traveled to: Every province and territory in Canada; Every state in the USA including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. England & Ireland; Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland as well as Iceland; Holland, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, France, Spain; Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa; Jordan, Israel, Turkey, Yugoslavia & Greece; All of Australia including Tasmania, New Zealand, Fiji & Tahiti; Thailand & Singapore; China & Hong Kong; India; Chile, Argentina; Uruguay, Brazil, Columbia & Venezuela; Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and all of the Caribbean Islands. We have cruised on the Yangtze, Nile, Rhine, Danube, Moselle, Mackenzie, Mississippi, St. Lawrence and Columbia Rivers. We have flown on everything, from a helicopter to the Concorde and all types in between. We cruised to Antarctica, from Cape Town, South Africa to Athens, Greece. Made a Trans Atlantic Voyage on the QEII, sailed the Mediterranean, South Pacific Mexican Riviera & Mayan Riviera; Numerous times to Alaska, by cruise ship and by bus, and the Caribbean. We have sailed through the Panama Canal, the Suez Canal and the Kiel Canal. We have been to every continent, crossed every ocean and circled the globe over 25 times. We have seen the Pyramids, Eiffel Tower, Mount Rushmore, Big Ben, Alaska Pipeline, Ayers Rock, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, the "Big Five" in Africa and the Statute of Liberty. We have ridden a camel, taken a Rickshaw ride, rode in cars, on trains, in busses and have even walked.
