Depart from select Canadian gateways on your flight to Phoenix, Arizona. Met at the Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport by a Local Guide and Driver. We will travel to Old Town Scottsdale for free time and lunch on your own. Later this afternoon, we will transfer to our hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the city. This evening, we will enjoy an included Welcome Dinner.

Day 02:  Sun - April 21, 2024 - Sedona, Arizona [B/D]
This morning, we will check out of our hotel and drive by motor coach to the beautiful town of Sedona. We arrive at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive Sedona shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Enjoy lunch on your own. This afternoon we will trade in our motorcoach for Jeeps and depart on an off-the-beaten-path tour of Sedona. After our visit in Sedona, we will travel to Tusayan, the gateway to the Grand Canyon, and enjoy an included dinner and our overnight stay.

Day 03:  Mon - April 22, 2024 - Grand Canyon - Page, Arizonia [B/L/D]
This morning, we will be leaving Tusayan and driving to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This will most certainly be one of the highlights of your trip! Walk along the South Rim to see one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring landmarks in the world. The Grand Canyon is the result of millions of years of wind and water erosion, an endless expanse of shapes, colors and impenetrable shadow. The Colorado River flows over a mile below the canyon rim. Enjoy an included boxed lunch with a view today. We will have an afternoon drive along the scenic Desert View Drive on our way to our host hotel. We arrive in Page this evening to enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant and check in to the hotel.

Day 04:  Tue - April 23, 2024 - Monument Valley - Bluff, Utah [B/L]
We will start our day with a visit of Antelope Canyon. Gently carved from the Navajo sandstone over the course of countless millennia, the slot canyons are majestic and narrow passages, with just enough space for a small group to walk the sandy floor - and for the occasional shafts of sunlight to shine down from above. Next, we leave for Monument Valley for our Jeep tour, where you will find yourself surrounded by dark red hills. Visit this imposing area where numerous westerns have been filmed. This 25 mile-long and 16-mile wide desert plain overflows with gigantic sandstone monolithic structures rising high above the valley. Enjoy an included picnic lunch. After the completion of our tour, we depart for Bluff. We will check into our hotel and the remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 05:  Wed - April 24, 2024 - Canyonlands - Moab, Utah [B/L]
This morning we depart for Moab with many scenic photo stops along the way. We will meet with our local Step-On Guide for our first visit of the day at Dead Horse Point, a promontory dominating the Colorado River that can be reached by a trail. The view of Canyonlands and the Colorado is spectacular. An included boxed lunch will be provided. Next, we continue the day with a visit of Canyonlands National Park where you will see this labyrinth of canyons scattered with buttes and sandstone pinnacles. The park is divided into 3 sections: Island in the Sky, The Needles and The Maze. We highly suggest visiting the Island in the Sky as it offers stunning panoramic views of the park. Later this afternoon, we arrive in Moab and settle in for our 2-night stay and enjoy dinner (not included) at one of the local restaurants.

Day 06:  Thu - April 25, 2024 - Moab/Arches, Utah [B/L]
Today will be totally devoted to your visit of the Arches National Park in the state of Utah, with its arid and austere landscape, where you can find over 2,000 natural arches of various shapes and sizes resulting from the erosion of red and gold sandstone. The visitor center also offers exhibits and films that provide an overview of the park’s history and geology. Enjoy a boxed lunch while overlooking the park at Delicate Arch Viewpoint. From the viewpoint, you can also take a short hike to get a closer look at the arch or you can opt to take a short hike to Landscape Arch, one of the park’s largest natural arches. We will depart the park this afternoon and return to the hotel where you are free to spend your evening in Moab exploring the town and having dinner on your own.

Day 07:  Fri - April 26, 2024 - Moab - Capitol Reef - Bryce, Utah [B]
This morning we leave for Capitol Reef, another national park in the state of Utah. The park derives its name from the many white sandstone domes that tower over the Fremont River and resemble the U.S. Capitol dome. This geologic uplift hides numerous cavities carved by erosion with gigantic multicolor sandstone cliffs. We will enjoy lunch (not included) in Torrey before heading out on our next adventure to Bryce Canyon, one of the most fascinating natural parks of Utah. The Mormons discovered this site in the 19th century. The dazzling shapes, colors and shades of the stone of memorable Pink Cliffs constantly vary from dawn to dusk. Arrive in Bryce Canyon City and settle in for another 2-night stay and enjoy dinner (not included) at a local restaurant.

Day 08:  Sat - April 27, 2024 - Bryce, Utah [B/D]
Your day today will be devoted to your visit of Bryce Canyon. Our first stop will be Sunrise Point which showcases panoramic views of the park’s famous hoodoo formations, which are tall, thin spires of rock that have eroded over time. You will be able to enjoy a leisurely hike along one of the many trails located within the park. Following your hike, you will be able to enjoy lunch on your own at the lodge. We will depart for Sunset Point where you will have more time to explore the amazing trails. Ranger-led Programs are offered by the park, are subject to availability and include guided hikes to talks about the park’s geology and history. Another night in Bryce will provide you with an included dinner and the opportunity to catch one of the more amazing sunsets you will ever see and experience, truly spectacular!

Day 09:  Sun - April 28, 2024 - Bryce - Zion - Las Vegas, Nevada [B/L]
This morning we check out of our hotel and leave for the oldest park in Utah, Zion Canyon, with its cathedral-shaped rocks, some of which are more than 3,000 feet high. There is also a great diversity of plant and animal life due to the park’s unique geography. Boxed lunches will be provided by Zion Lodge. Later this evening, we arrive in Las Vegas and settle in for your 2-night stay. The sights and sounds of the city await you as you head out for dinner (not included) at a local restaurant. You may wish to explore the city at nightfall by joining an optional Las Vegas by Night tour.

Day 10:  Mon - April 29, 2024 - Las Vegas, Nevada [B]
Today, we will be joined by a local Step On Guide for a tour of Las Vegas including a walking tour of Fremont Street down to Container Park before venturing out to the Strip. Following the tour, we will return to the hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Las Vegas and see the sights. With lunch and dinner on your own, you have lots of time to check out the local cuisine and explore the casinos, or even take in a show.

Day 11:  Tue - April 30, 2024 - End of Tour [B]
This morning we check out of the hotel and transfer to the McCarron International Airport in Las Vegas. Board our return flight and say goodbye to your newfound friends with many happy memories of your Arizona & Utah Discovery Tour.
