DAY 01 – Tue: July 02, 2024 - CALGARY (D)
Your adventure begins as you arrive Calgary, and make your way to the hotel for the night.

DAY 02 – Wed: July 03, 2024 – CALGARY - LETHBRIDGE   (B, D)
Following breakfast, travel into the foothills of Alberta where most of the cattle ranching takes place.  A stop will be made at Bar U ranch, one of the first, most successful and most enduring large scale ranching operations in Canada, along with a wagon ride.  Discover the life of an Alberta ranching cowboy from the late 1800s at the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site. Back-dropped by the Rocky Mountains – it’s a true Alberta experience! Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump for a guided tour of this unique facility and learn about the hunting of the buffalo by a ‘native’ story teller.  Arrive Lethbridge for a two night stay.

DAY 03 – Thu: July 04, 2024 - LETHBRIDGE   (B/D)
Two great visits today with local farmers. These farms grows potatoes, beans, sugar beets and seed canola, wheat, plus more on their farms. Later this afternoon we arrive the city of Lethbridge, the largest city on southern Alberta and home of the Canadian Agricultural Research Centre. This evening dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 04 – Fri: July 05, 2024 – LETHBRIDGE - STRATHMORE (B/D)
Travel this morning and a visit to the largest Western Store in Canada. With over 100,000 square feet of retail space.  Everything from western apparel, tack, home décor to arena chutes and stock trailers – And be sure to check out one of our 1400 saddles in stock. This afternoon visit a large feedlot operation with over 25,000 head of cattle.  This feedlot serves as a model for other feedlots in Alberta with its innovative system which is cutting edge technology. Dinner in the famous “Station Restaurant” which is rich in train history.

DAY 05 – Sat: July 06, 2024 – STRATHMORE - LACOMBE/CENTRAL ALERTA (B/D)
Visit to “Horseshoe Canyon”, in the heart of the Badlands before arriving Drumheller. Travel along the Red Deer River and visit the hoodoos. This is followed by a visit to Drumheller and home of the Royal Tyrell Museum, Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the study of ancient life. In addition to featuring one of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs. Continue through some of the most fertile farm land in Western Canada as you make your way to Lacombe, for a three night stay. This evening enjoy a multi-course “Canadian Dinner”, created by one of the area’s top chefs.

DAY 06 – Sun: July 07, 2024 – LACOMBE/CENTRAL ALBERTA  (B/D)
Visit a large dairy farm and operations. This afternoon, visit to a large local family farm that specializes in oil seed and grain production. Enjoy a tour plus farm dinner at the family farm, hosted by the Layden family.

DAY 07 – Mon: July 08, 2024 - LACOMBE/CENTRAL ALBERTA (B/L/D)
First visit is at a large farm equipment dealership for tour. This is followed by a visit to a local honey & bison farm. Enjoy a “bison safari” hay-ride through the bison herd.  This is followed by a tour of the honey extraction facility.  Lunch will also be on the farm with time to visit the farm store featuring locally produced honey, beeswax, candles, bison meat, and local artisan items. After lunch visit a Hay Processing Plant where the hay is sourced from local farmers and is then taken immediately to the plant to be dehydrated. The plants have one of the largest and most modern dehydration facilities. The plant dries the forage at a lower temperature to preserve protein and nutrients in the alfalfa and forage, as well as maintaining the fresh green color.  At the plant, after dehydration, the hay is then cubed where large quantities are processed down to around 5-inch square pellets, stores then shipped worldwide. Return to Lacombe for the night and dinner.

DAY 08 – Tue: July 09, 2024 - LACOMBE - JASPER NATIONAL PARK/CANADIAN ROCKIES (B/L/D)
A coffee stop will be made in Rocky Mountain House, the "Gateway to the Prairies" and a historic trading post for the Hudson Bay Company. Travel past Lake Abraham, one of Canada's largest man-made lakes. This afternoon drive to the Columbia Icefields Discovery Center where you board an amazing SnoCoach glacier ride onto the Glacier surface.  The Columbia Icefields are situated inside Jasper National Park.  Return to hotel for the night including a buffet dinner.  These accommodations are situated in the heart of the Canadian Rockies situated in Banff National Park.

DAY 09 – Wed: July 10, 2024 - CANADIAN ROCKIES - CANMORE  (B/D) 
After breakfast, continue along the scenic Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic highways in Canada.  Visit Peyto Lake & Bow Lakes. Visit to beautiful Lake Louise, a crowning jewels in Banff National Park & the Canadian Rockies. Continue into Banff and take the gondola to the Sulphur Mountain Observation Centre. Later this afternoon arrive your hotel for the night including dinner.

DAY 10 – Thu: July 11, 2024 – CANMORE - CALGARY STAMPEDE  (B) 
Continue into Calgary, for a two night stay. Arrive at the Stampede Park and the Calgary Stampede, known as “The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth”. This evening, you will enjoy the thrill and excitement of the world famous Chuckwagon Races, Grandstand show and Fireworks.  (NOTE: this will be a late evening)

DAY 11 – Fri: July 12, 2024 – CALGARY STAMPEDE  (B/D) 
Later start this day as you transfer back to Stampede Park, for another day. Your may choose to visit the agricultural pavilions and other many other displays.  This afternoon take in the local rodeo performance. Later this afternoon return to hotel before going for dinner.

DAY 12 – Sat: July 13, 2024 – CALGARY, ALBERTA - VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA  (B/L) 
Transfer to the Calgary International Airport for the 90 minute flight to Victoria. Victoria is the capital city of the Canadian province of British Columbia, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada's Pacific coast. No visit to Vancouver Island would be complete without a visit to Butchart Gardens. Enveloping you in lush greens and colorful blooms, these garden and local setting are a must-see oasis. Lunch will also be included at the gardens. This afternoon arrive at hotel in Victoria with free time to explore on your own.

DAY 13 – Sun: July 14, 2024 – VICTORIA - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA  (B) 
A free morning in Victoria before traveling up island to Duncan. Visits the BC Forest Discovery Centre is a 100-acre, an open air museum with an operational railway. The Centre features forest and marsh trails with excellent bird watching opportunities. The story of BC’s forest industry is shared through exhibits, heritage buildings, and logging artifacts. Ride one of our historic trains over the Somenos Lake Trestle. Continue to Chemainus a community that has inspired other communities throughout the world to explore their roots by the many murals, that have beautify their towns, and instill pride. Later this afternoon we board the B.C. Ferry and travel from Dukes Point on Vancouver Island to Vancouver. This 2 hour crossing takes us across the Georgian Strait. Arrive hotel in Vancouver area for a two night stay.

DAY 14 – Mon: July 15, 2024 – VANCOUVER & AREA (B/D) 
Visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and conservation area. This is followed by taking the cable car up on Grouse Mountain with spectacular view of Vancouver. Later a visit with free time at Grandville Island. Brimming with arts and crafts studios, bars and restaurants with eye popping views. Granville Island is a popular spot for visitors and locals alike. Though it’s really a peninsula, jutting out into False Creek, the island draws visitors who can wander the pedestrian-friendly alleyways while enjoying the sounds of the buskers and the sights along the waterfront. Return to hotel this evening for “Farewell Dinner”.

DAY 15 – Tue: July 16, 2024 – END OF TOUR  (B) 
Tour comes to an end with a transfer to the Vancouver International Airport.
