Day 03 - March 01, 2025: Benoa (Denpasar), Bali, Indonesia
Located on the southeastern coast of Bali is the small village of Tanjung Benoa. Still considered a fishing village, Benoa has developed over the past 20 years into a major player in the tourism sector. The calm waters and the beautiful white sand beaches have made Benoa the prime water sport area of Bali. Being a peninsula that is only accessible from one direction, Tanjung Benoa is still relatively quiet with a more relaxed feeling. This will be a free day. [B]

Day 04 - March 02, 2025: Benoa (Denpasar), Bali, Indonesia
Free morning before boarding the Seabourn Quest mid-day. Set sail at 6pm.

Day 06 - March 04, 2025: Baubau, Butung, Indonesia from 8am till 5pm
Expect a day of exotic discoveries in friendly Baubau — beginning with a traditional welcome dance performed as you step ashore. The main city on Butung (Buton) Island in southeast Sulawesi, Baubau provides visitors with a glimpse into sultan life at Buton Fortress, built in the 16th century to protect the palace complex. Measuring more than a mile and a half in circumference and constructed of coral and limestone, this massive fortress commands breathtaking sea views. The island’s rainforest-covered interior invites with numerous waterfalls and an incredible array of flora and fauna. Visit the fishing village of Bajo, home to sea gypsies who build their houses atop the water, or go spelunking in Lakasa Cave near Sulaa village; its crystal-clear lake is believed to have curative properties. Equally healing are the warm waters and white sands along Nirwana Beach, one of many fine beaches that line the coast.

Day 08 - March 06, 2025: Ternate, Ternate, Indonesia from 8am till 6pm
Sailing into Ternate in the Maluku Islands, you’ll first see the cone of volcanic Mt. Gamalama, which dominates the skyline at more than 5,600 feet in height. Then you may detect the scent of cloves; the island was the single biggest producer of the aromatic spice in pre-colonial days and clove orchards still ring the mountain. Fort Oranje was the first home of the Dutch East India Company in 1607. The Sultan’s Palace, now partly a museum, dates from 1756.  In 1858, Englishman Alfred Russel Wallace sent a copy of his so-called Ternate Essay on evolution theory to Charles Darwin, who was debating whether to publish his own conclusions. Darwin arranged for his own and Wallace’s papers to be read together at the Linnaean Society. A short trip to Lake Tolire offers views of the green-tinted lake from the rim of the crater that contains it and, with luck, one of the white crocodiles that occupy its waters. Ternate City’s impressive Al Munawwaroh Mosque is dramatically sited beside the sea. The black sand Sulamadaha Beach is the island’s most popular with snorkelers and divers attracted by its clear waters.

Day 09 - March 07, 2025: Bitung, Sulawesi, Indonesia from 8am till 6pm
Bitung is the busy port for Manado on the island of Sulawesi. Like other Indonesian ports, it’s interesting just to see what sorts of ships turn up in the port. The narrow strait between Bitung and the island of Lembeh is famous for its colorful sea life, particularly smaller species such as nudibranchs, miniature seahorses and so forth. Manado has ample evidence of its Dutch colonial history, but many visitors are drawn to the remarkable nature preserves such as Tangkoko, where achingly cute, saucer-eyed tarsiers and endangered crested black macaques are the main attractions, along with toucan hornbills. The village of Airmadidi has remarkable carved stone sarcophagi dating from the pre-Christian Minahasan culture.

Day 12 - March 10, 2025: Boracay, Philippines from 8am till 4pm
Boracay is a small island about 200 miles southeast of Manila. Its shape is akin to a dumbbell or a dog-bone, and the narrow strip in the middle is rimmed with two of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The name of White Beach, on the western side, is almost an understatement. It is vividly white and the shallow water offshore shines a candy blue. Add lush coco palms and other tropical vegetation, and a burgeoning community of upscale resorts, restaurants and shops, and you have a prescription for relaxation and aquatic recreation. At other spots around the island, surprise! More beaches.

Day 13 - March 11, 2025: Manila, Philippines Arrive at 8am / Overnight Stay
The port of Manila is the largest and most important in the archipelago. The city of Manila proper, which boasts the densest population in the world, is really only the center of a larger urban cluster called Manila Metro, housing over 12 million people. Most visitors will be attracted to the oldest section, called Intramuros, to see Spanish colonial architectural icons such as the Manila Cathedral or the ancient San Agustin church. The city’s Binondo neighborhood is the oldest Chinatown on earth, predating the arrival of the Spanish in the mid-18th Century. Rizal Park, in the area called Ermita, is home to many museums, themed gardens and other notable sights.

Day 14 - March 12, 2025: Manila, Philippines Sail at 4pm
An overnight stay will enable you to enjoy the renowned Manila sunset along the Baywalk, and also leave time for a visit to the important historical site of Corregidor Island in Manila Bay, the site of an Allied surrender in World War II, and then the triumphant return of General Douglas MacArthur to the Philippines.

Day 16 - March 14, 2025: Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 8am till 6pm
Taiwan’s second-largest city, Kaohsiung is a growing, fascinating, cultural hub featuring a unique blend of tradition, natural beauty, and modernity. The city's modern skyline captivates with architectural wonders like the 85 Sky Tower, offering panoramic views of Kaohsiung's bustling harbor and the sprawling city below. Art enthusiasts can lose themselves in the contemporary treasures of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and the Pier-2 Art Center, where creativity knows no bounds. Additionally, the lively Liuhe Night Market is a must-visit for those seeking delectable street food, vibrant night bazaars, and a taste of local culture. Beyond its urban modern core lie many opportunities to explore important Taiwanese historical sites such as the Chikan Towers, a gorgeous center of Confucian learning surrounded by a dazzling maze of koi ponds, or the colorful Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, with their vibrant exteriors and elaborate interior walls.

Day 18 - March 16, 2025: Hong Kong, China Arrive at 7am / Disembark Ship
Hong Kong is divided into four sections: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and the numerous outlying islands. One hundred sixty-four square miles of dense real estate dominate Hong Kong Island, including enormous skyscrapers with futuristic architecture, opulent hotels, residential compounds on Victoria Peak, and some of the oldest Chinese communities in the region. All these elements create one of the most exotic and exciting ports of call in the world; one that is universally loved by tourists and its own enterprising citizens.
