Arrive Dublin, Ireland. Meet your Coach and Driver-Guide at airport and transfer to hotel located on O'Connell Street, Dublin. Dinner and overnight in Dublin for two nights.

Day 3- June 10, 2024: Dublin, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Meet with a Local Step-On Guide for a panoramic sightseeing tour of Dublin, including O’Connell Street, Phoenix Park, Leinster House. Visit - Trinity College Library, one of the world’s great research libraries, holding the largest collection of manuscripts and printed books in Ireland. Since 1801 it has had the right to claim a free copy of all British and Irish publications and has a stock of nearly 3 million volumes housed in a total of eight buildings. Visit the Treasury and see a display of Irish medieval gospel manuscripts, principally the Book of Kells which contains a Latin text of the four gospels copied and decorated by Irish monks around the year 800 AD. Visit and Tasting - Guinness Storehouse. The Storehouse was originally built in 1904 to house the Guinness fermentation process. The core of the building is modelled on a giant pint glass. The tour takes you step by step through the brewing process, finishing at the Gravity Bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness whilst enjoying the panoramic views over Dublin city. Afternoon free for shopping. Dinner and Show at The Merry Ploughboy - The Merry Ploughboy is widely regarded as the best traditional music show in Dublin. A highly entertaining performance of live traditional Irish Music, Song and Irish Dancing. The very best of fresh Irish food is served from our restaurant which offers a choice menu. Overnight in Dublin.

Day 4- June 11, 2024: Dublin - Tipperary - Cork, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Cork. Farm visit - Hyland Dairy Farm. The farm comprises 282 acres of both owned and leased land that supports grazing for 400 Cows. The Hyland brothers have a largely grass based farming operation using New Zealand principles. More statistics 1.4 cows per acre. Herd crossed to Jersey for easy calving and management; production averaged 430 kg milk solids per cow last year; milking block is split in two, a 16 unit parlour on one block and a bigger 20 unit milking parlour on the larger land block. Visit - Rock of Cashel. This was the seat of kings and mediaeval bishops for 900 years and flourished until the early 17th century. Brian Ború was crowned King of Munster here in 977 and he became High King of Ireland in 1002. Entrance - Dualla House which dates back from 1798. The farm is 300 acres in size comprising two blocks of land. On the home farm of 236 acres we keep 700 ewes and 180 ewe lamb replacements. 42 acres of cereals mainly Spring or Winter Barley. On outside farm of 64 acres a neighbour dairy farmer, leases this land long term. Dinner and overnight at Blarney Castle Hotel, Blarney, for a two night stay.

Day 5- June 12, 2024: Cork, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Farm Visit - Tim O'Leary Dairy Farm Cork. This farmer is the former Vice-President of the Irish Farmers Association and consists of 128 Hectares: 120ha grass, 8ha woods and roadways. Herd size: 245 Dairy cows (Holstein Friesian and cross breed) 18 Bulls, all Heifers have been crossed to Jerseys. Visit - Blarney Castle. The Castle was built in 1446 as a defensive fortress. The castle which stands today is in fact the keep of a much larger fortress. All visitors should kiss the famous Blarney Stone, high up on the Castle battlements. Tradition holds that those who kiss the Blarney Stone will be endowed with the gift of eloquence - “the gift of the gab” as the locals call it. After the Castle, you can visit the Blarney Woollen Mills Store. Free time in Blarney or Cork city. Dinner and overnight at Blarney Castle Hotel, Blarney.

Day 6- June 13, 2024: Cork - RIng of Kerry - Killarney, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour of the Ring of Kerry via Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville, Coomakesta Pass with its magnificent views over Derrynane, home of Daniel O’ Connell, known as “The Liberator” to Caherdaniel. Travel on via Sneem, Moll’s Gap, Ladies View, Killarney National Park and along the Lakes of Killarney. Irish Sheepdog demonstration - Kissane Sheep Farm a traditional, working sheep farm with approximately 1,000 mountain sheep and hundreds of lambs. The farm is run by John Kissane and his son, Sean, as it has been run by the family for the last 150 years. Includes a Sheepdog demonstration. Dinner and overnight at The Brehon Hotel, Killarney

Day 7- June 14, 2024: Killarney, - Galway, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Galway. Visit - Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, the first castle was built by a Norman, Thomas de Clare in the 13th century. However, the story of the site goes back to prehistoric times and it was the Vikings who first established a settlement here in 950AD. In 1954 Lord Gort bought the castle and with the help of Bord Failte restored it to its present condition. He also installed the finest collection of medieval furniture in the country. The crafts and skills of the self-sufficient Shannon community have been revived on the same grounds, the Folk Park. Visit - Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s favourite visitor experiences, the Cliffs of Moher tower over the rugged west Clare coast. Walk the safe, paved pathways and view the incredible Cliffs that sit on Europe’s most westerly tip and enjoy the spectacular vistas over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands. Their natural beauty has inspired artists, musicians, and poets for generations, as well as absorbing scientists and geologists, drawn by the unique landscape in which they sit. Travel through the Burren Famous for its Lunar-like Limestone landscape and its unique flora. About 20 species of Orchids grow wild here. Dinner and overnight at Clayton Hotel Galway.

Day 8- June 15, 2024: Galway - Donegal - Derry, Northern Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Derry. Farm Visit - Barry Stephens Sheep, Suckler Cows and Potatoes, a family-run farm. 80 hectares of cereals (spring & winter barley + winter wheat), 25 hectares of potatoes. Potatoes are stored, packaged, weighed and graded on-farm, and sold to local supermarkets. Livestock:400 breeding ewes + lambs (around 700 in total at lambing time) 350 suckler cows + calves, plus approximately 2000 bales of straw are sold to other farmers each year. Visit to Tillage Farm/Drumbuoy Farm, which is a Commercial Tillage Farm enterprise established in 1954. Today the farm covers over 900 acres of tillage ground. Crops include winter and spring barley, winter wheat, spring oilseed rape and spring oats. Also produce a small quantity of hay and haylage. The farmer owns a fleet of modern machinery and uses GPS technology – section control, auto steer and vehicle tracking. Most of the grain is sold directly to local beef and pig farmers and a small quantity through local merchants. Dinner and overnight at White Horse Hotel, Derry.

Day 9- June 16, 2024: Derry - Antrim - Belfast, Northern Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Guided Walk of Derry which is the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland. The walls were built during the period 1613-1618 as defences for early 17th-century settlers from England and Scotland. The history of Derry city goes back to the 6th century. Depart along the Antrim coast. Visit a Beef farm - Anne Morrison Antrim Coast Farm a 100ha of which 55ha area owned and 45ha rented under the 11 months conacre system. Livestock: Pedigree Belgian Blue & Hereford herds. A commercial suckler herd is put to Belgian Blue bulls with all calves finished and sold to meat plants supplying major supermarkets. The Mullaghduff Pedigree Hereford herd was founded over 40 years ago with pedigree bulls sold to dairy and suckler herd owners. This farmer has a cattle semen agency with over 300 clients across Northern Ireland. Farmhouse lunch - Anne Morrison Antrim Coast Farm. Visit - Giants Causeway renowned for its hexagonal columns of layered basalt, the Giant’s Causeway is the only World Heritage site in Northern Ireland. Resulting from a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, this is the focal point of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has attracted visitors for centuries. Continue to Belfast with dinner and overnight at Maldron Hotel Belfast City, for two nights.

Day 10- June 17, 2024: Belfast, Nothern, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour - Black Taxi Tour Belfast. This is no ordinary taxi tour, it is a tour of the sites and areas where the troubles in Belfast were concentrated. Your guide will be a taxi driver/entrepreneur who lived through the troubles and now makes a living educating his passengers on these distant dark times in Northern Ireland’s history. Your taxi driver will bring you to the areas your coach can’t go, the small streets, the peace wall and the estates, giving you his unique perspective on these troubled times. Visit - Titanic Experience Belfast which extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way; from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day with a live undersea exploration centre. Afternoon free for shopping. Day 11- June 18, 2024: Belfast - Louth - Dublin, Ireland [B/D]
Breakfast at hotel. Travel back to Dublin. Entrance - Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum which is housed in 17th-century Market House, with 19th and 20th century additions. The Museum is focusing on the local history of Lisburn and the Lagan Valley. The town’s merchants sold their wares and produce and sought shelter in and around the ground floor of the building, and John Wesley preached here in 1756 and 1789. The first floor Assembly Rooms played an important role in the social and political life of Lisburn, hosting regular soirees, balls, dance classes and political meetings throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Visit - Monasterboice High Crosses, an important centre of religion and learning until the 12th century. The site houses two 14th century churches and an earlier round tower, but is most famous for its 10th century high crosses.
