Day 01:  June 10, 2024:  Depart North America (IFM)
Depart North America for a flight into Krakow, Poland.

Day 02:  June 11, 2024:  Krakow, Poland (D)
Arrive Krakow, Poland.  Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.  Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 03:  June 12, 2024: Krakow       (B/L/D)
Today enjoy a Krakow city tour.  Walk along beautiful Kanonicza and Grodzka streets, enjoy the ambience of the Main Market Square and listen to the bugle call from the tower of St. Mary’s Church.  There will be a special Polish lunch.  After lunch visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine.  Return to hotel early evening with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 04:  June 13, 2024:  Krakow       (B/L/D)
Following breakfast you will head for the Memorial and Museum Auschwitz Birkenau. It is a German name for Oswiecim, a town located 60 km to Krakow. Between 1940 and 1945 it was home to the largest of Nazi Germany’s concentration camps.   Tonight, dinner at the restaurant Ariel.  It houses the first private Judaistic art gallery in Krakow, with old and contemporary pieces of art, and in the second symmetric wing of the building, newly constructed, there is a cafe and restaurant with Jewish music concerts.

Day 05: June 14, 2024:  Krakow ~ Wroclaw       (B/D)
Check out of the hotel and drive through the Polish countryside as you make your way to Wroclaw.  Enroute, visit a large cattle and grain farm as the hosts explain the day to day operation.  Later on, continue into Wroclaw and check into hotel for two nights with an authentic Polish dinner this evening.

Day 06:  June 15, 2024:  Wroclaw       (B/L/D)
After breakfast, enjoy a Wroclaw city tour.   Wrocław is a city on the Oder River in western Poland.  It’s known for its Market Square, lined with elegant townhouses and featuring a modern fountain.  Also on the square is the Gothic Old Town Hall, with its large astronomical clock.  Nearby is the Panorama of Racławice, a painting depicting the 1794 battle for independence. The Centennial Hall, with its giant dome and tall spire, lies across the river.  In the afternoon, travel into the countryside and visit the oldest winery in Poland for a tasting and dinner. Return to hotel.

Day 07:  June 16, 2024:  Wroclaw ~ Poznan         (B/L/D)
Check out after breakfast and travel to visit a vegetable farm specializing in fermentable products. Lunch at a local microbrewery that serves dishes and products grown on the farm. Continue your journey through the countryside to Poznan, one of the top 10 "Must See Polish Cities" to visit.  After checking into your hotel for 2 nights, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 08: June 17, 2024:  Poznan       (B/L/D)
Today enjoy a Poznan city tour.  With over a thousand years of history Poznan is one of the oldest cities in Poland. Take a walk around the Old Town and see the 13th century town hall with the famous billy-goat clock. After lunch travel into the countryside and visit a local farm. Dinner this evening where you can once again taste traditional Polish cuisine. 

Day 09:  June 18, 2024:  Warsaw         (B/D)
After breakfast, check out and start your journey towards Warsaw.  Enroute, visit another local farm specializing in crop production and rural management. Continue into Warsaw and enjoy a Chopin Concert in the park. Check into hotel for a 2-night stay and dinner.

Day 10:  June 19, 2024:  Warsaw             (B/L/D)
Following breakfast, visit Bronisze wholesale market in Warsaw, established in 1995, operated by a company comprised of the government and the sellers.  The fruit and vegetable market is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Enjoy a city tour of Warsaw which is the largest Polish city as well as the capital of Poland.  The city has contrasts where history blends with modernity.  Highlights include:  the Palace of Culture, the Royal Route and Lazienki Garden.  In the Old Town see the with characteristic Sigismund’s column and the Royal Castle. Enjoy a "Farewell Dinner" to Poland at a local restaurant this evening.

Day 10:  June 20, 2024:  Warsaw, Poland - Bucharest, Romania    [/D]
Depart Kiev, Ukraine and arrive at Bucharest, Romania, then transfer to a downtown hotel for a 2-night stay.  Rest of the day to relax before enjoying a “Welcome Dinner” this evening.

Day 11:  June 21, 2024:  Bucharest, Romania     [B/L/D]
After breakfast, transfer to a dairy farm in Bucharest’s outskirts.  This dairy farm is part of the elite farms for Holstein breed in Romania. It started with Holstein brought from Denmark. Today there are about 500 heads, producing more than 5.000 l of milk every day.  Return to Bucharest for lunch.  After lunch visit the Palace of Parliament – the 2nd largest building in the world after the Pentagon and according to Guinness Book of World records, it is the largest civilian, most expensive administrative and heaviest building in the world.  Enjoy a  traditional dinner this evening.

Day 12:  June 22, 2024:  Bucharest - Brasov, Romania    [B/L/D]
After breakfast at the hotel, travel north to the Transylvania region of the country.   Cross the South Plain and visit a cereal grain farm producing wheat , corn, barley and rape.  Enjoy lunch at a local winery with wine tasting.  This afternoon
enter the famous Transylvania region of myths, legends and traditions.  Arrive at Brasov, a beautiful medieval city, in the Southern Carpathian Mountains, for a 2-night stay.  Dinner this evening at a local restaurant.

Day 13:  June 23, 2024:  Brasov, Romania     [B/L/D]
Brasov is known for potatoes and for cow and sheep breeding. This morning visit a local farm that raises sheep, cows, plus have arable land and pasture. Continue to visit the fully restored Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. Visit the Rhein wine cellars for tasting and lunch. Return to Brasov for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 14:  June 24, 2024:  Brasov - Viscri, Romania    (Home Stay)     [B/L/D]
This morning visit a local farm that raises sheep, cows (and a few horses) plus have arable land and pasture. They produce several types of traditional cheese and sell to supermarkets. Cheese tasting and lunch at the farm. Travel to Viscri under the UNESCO listing with more than 150 fortified churches and villages. Tour this Saxon village, have lunch prepared by the locals and check out several peasant house. Take a ride on a horse-drawn cart around the village, which is a common means of transportation for the locals. Dinner and overnight in a peasant house. (Please note: Bathrooms in some cases may be shared by 2 rooms this evening.

Day 15:  June 25, 2024:  Viscri - Sibu, Romania    [B/L/D]
After breakfast at the hotel, travel towards Sighisoara, a medieval citadel included in the UNESCO heritage listing and continuously inhabited since the 13th century. Continue then to Mosna village where you visit a small bio family farm, with about 6 cows and 15 ha of land, producing cheese, jams, teas, and rose petals. In the afternoon, continue to Sibu city, which was named the European city of culture in 2017. The city is packed full of fascinating sites to explore. Overnight here.

Day 16:  June 26,2024: Bucharest, Romania   [B/L/D]
This morning, leave Sibiu and transfer to Cartisoara for visiting a mix farm: Angus beef and water buffalos, followed by a visit to a trout farm. Lunch at the trout farm. Return to Bucharest with stop to visit an Orthodox monastery. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 17:  June 27, 2024: End of Tour   [B/IFM]
Transfer to Airport for flight back to North America.
